PET (Positron Emission Tomography)

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a non-inversive technique for capturing 3D images inside the body and is particularly suited for evaluation of the brain, reproductive organs, and cardiovascular system. Patients receive no radiation exposure with MRI. We have two "Signa Infinity EXCITE 1.5T" machines which are presently the World's most advanced MRI. Filming time is shortened by less than half and the acquired image is much clearer than earlier models. MRI helps to find some benign or malignant diseases that are not easily depicted by PET.
Multi-Slice Helical CT
The World's most advanced CT, called "Aquilion", is useful for finding benign and /or malignant diseases that are not detected by PET. In addition, CT scanning can provide better information on tumor shape and its location, and is thus better than MRI for lung evaluation. CT captures a highly precise 3D image by rotating at 360-degrees for 0.5 seconds and scanning the body into 0.8 mm slices. With this form of real-time imaging doctors can diagnose cases faster than before.
Linac Radio Surgery System
In the field of radiation therapy, advanced equipment "MEVATRON"can treat disease without the surgery. Linac System uses this equipment and treats the lesion by X-ray irradiation without the surgery. Radio surgery system targets and spots the position of the brain lesion. It treats lesion by X-ray beam without the surgery.
We have three of this equipment, which investigates the vessels all around the body. X-ray image of vessels is obtained by injecting the contract agent into the veins. If the aneurysm, tumor, and coronary occlusion are found, one of the treatments is to expand the artery using the balloon.
Bone Density - Body Composition Measuring with Lunar iDXA
This is the first Lunar iDXA in Japan and introduced in the Tokyo Clinic.
